ID AND PASSWORD incorrect inspite right entries

I was using my dlink router a few days back and suddenly when i configured it again using pppoe i.e id and password ,then it shows invalid password or id inspite of correct one. but i have 2 dlink 600m routers its not accepting pasword due to which i cannot access wifi or net through it. I tried reseting it ...please help

the id and password provided to me by isp matched a few days ago on this router, but now it dosen't match inspite it is correct. As the pppoe link dosen't get created i can't access internet through the router.

The problem is not logging in the router but the pppoe setup . I brought one dir600 2 months back which i was using till now and yesterday i switched to a new dir600 , i reset the old one through internal settings and then tried setting up it again. it won't accept id and password the isp gave me,but the same works on the new one on the same connection.
Did the reseting tweak the firmware or internal damage to the router.

PPPOe would be for DSL right? That would be the user : pass to get on their net. You need to provide the user : pass to access the router which the ISP wouldn't know/give you. I think for Dlink it's admin: Meaning the user is Admin and nothing in the password field. It might be Admin:Admin.
