hey guys I need quick and straightforward answer.
I'm purchasing a custom PC, I'm using CyberPower website (I'm not going to even try to build it myself because I want them to overclock it for me, plus I'm inexperienced)

the components are:

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS X99-A INTEL X99 Chipset, 3-Way SLI/Crossfire supported, 4 Channel DDR4 ATX Mainboard w/ 8 RAM slots, UEFIBios,Thunderbolt Ready,CrystalSound 2,Turbo LAN,USB3.0,SATA-III RAID,3 Gen3 PCIe x16, 1 PCIe x16 & 1PCIe x 1

CPU: INTEL® Core™ i7-5930K Six-Core 3.50 GHz 15MB INTEL Smart Cache LGA2011-V3

GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card (Single Card)

POWER SUPPLY:600 Watts Power Supplies

RAM (this is important because I don't know if it enough, I'm on a certain budget): 8GB

Solution
For a gaming you are are way overspending on the cpu and motherboard. Get a z97 and a 4690k or 4790k and a better video card like the 970 or 980. Also be careful with their PSUs they tend to use cheap units.

I picked the components myself, my budget is £1300. why is pairing a GTX 960 with Corei7930K is ripping off? I'm new to all this, I'm coming from playstation 4 and I want the best PC gaming experience (I'm interested in helping my mate with his youtube channel too) also I'm going to do Animation and special effect at University in september therefore I though a powerful pc would benefit me

A Core i7-5930K deserves to be paired with GTX 980 3-way SLI. Using a GTX 960 is just a waste of the chip's potential.

You should follow the advice laid out here and go with a Core i7-4790K paired with a GTX 970 or 980. This combination is more than enough for what you're planning to do.

are you sure, another person told me the same thing, how long this hardware will last me before I will have to upgrade
to be honest as I have enough for the components I listed above I was hoping for gaming in high settings, maybe Ultra possibly (I have a full HD monitor) will GTX 980 and Core i7-4790K give me that experience?

hahahaha, can achieve or will achieve. as I was putting those hardware components in the CyberPower's system I got a price of £1000 so I got some money left and with the z97 motherboard I can't go higher unless I get GTX 980 dual card
