linux mint wired connection doesnt get internet

i just installed linux mint but it doesn't get internet connection but there is a wired connect apparently could it be a driver problem.

It certainly could be. Does the NIC show in the boot log, and is it correctly recognized? Does "lsmod" show that the driver has been loaded? Does the output of "ifconfig" show anything interesting?
