I would go with the Samsung, as it comes with excellent software such as Samsung magician ( for info about SSD, benchmarks, updates and optimisations ) and Data migration ( Moves info from one drive onto SSD )

Well the samsung uses 3D vertical while the intel uses MLC, which one of these is better?

aside from included software I just want to know which SSD is going to be faster and better for gaming

'faster' ?
You will not see a performance difference between the two.

Samsung is the only one using 3d vertical (and has the copyrights to it). Mlc is proven and used by most other manufacturers. If you want to be on the cutting edge, you take the risk of the cutting edge failing in the long run, or prove so successful that others want to be in on it as well.

Which technology is better? Samsung claims theirs is better. Believe in Samsung if you want. I prefer durability. Personally, I am off Samsung products from past personal experience with their first smartphone, their lcd tv, and their (expensive) lcd computer monitor. No more Samsungs for me.

Looks like I'll be going with samsung then, 20 dollars cheaper, 10gb more storage, and samsung's SSD has higher review rating, plus I also have a Samsung 840 150gb and it's been great.
