when I turn on my xbox original the light is yellow or orange what does that mean?

can someone email me a picture of all the cord that came with the original xbox to make sure I have all the pieces I have not played this box in a very long time and cannot remember all the pieces, I do have a black cord but I think there was something else, something that looked like a brick with two sides of connection or am I getting this confused with the 360? thank you learningbitbybit that was very helpful, but if it is the fan will I need to take it to some shop to be fixed or is it simple enough for me to do it. where would I get a fan?
