After installing Ubuntu 14.04 on a second partition on my 1TB drive it has shown up as Invalid and Missing in Disk Management and I cannot access the drive in windows, however I can still boot into Ubuntu. Windows 8.1 is installed on an SSD (Disk 0)

Can anyone please help me to get this Drive back online in windows as the first partition has important files on it. I've already tried right clicking and re-activating as well as converting the drive to basic using a third party program 'Partition Wizard', neither option helped at all.

Thanks in advance
Fen

After Search for hours I took an extreme risk and manually edited the hex values on my hard drive to return the drive back to basic. My drive is fine and Ubuntu is launching good as ever.
