Hi everyone i've decided to build a pc as pre existing builds i feel just aren't as good as they could be so ive asked a friend of mine at college to help choose the parts and build the machine when i have the money. I am currently saving around £1100 pound to build this machine and i was hoping to see if you could help. I have a list of parts but just want to double check with people who have been doing this for a long time. Is there anything that needs to be changed? incompatibilty issues or just better parts? please give your thoughts

some of the links don't work, but for raw power you are in the right area, there may be 1-2% tweaks by getting a slightly better variant of a GPU, but that might cost a lot more when an overclock could do it.

I would say that the CL10 1600 ram is not a great choice, lower CLs are available, 9 would be a bit better if the cost is not prohibitive.

When spending so much on a build like that would i choose a better psu too.Maybe look at the possibity for sli too,the motherboard also doesn't support it.If one gpu is fine for you at least get a better psu.
Looks like you're looking at overclocking,i would pick a better motherboard with a litle better vrm for that anyway. Was maybe a bit hasty with this,it seems to do fine as it is from what i read.Only time will tell how it will do in the long run.
Maybe take a less expensive cooler to make money free for these suggestions.
The gpu is a very good choice imo.

The page apparently doesn't exist. 404 error appologies seems to be working now. wil check

OP, that build looks fine except for the Corsair CX series power supply as they use poor capacitors. Get an XFX 650W or Seasonic 620W power supply.

These should do fine. Maybe try to look for ones with an even lower cas latency like 8 or even 7.
Some options,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/corsair-memory-cml8gx3m2a1600c9%2Ccrucial-memory-blt2k4g3d1608et3lx0%2Cmushkin-memory-997006%2Cmushkin-memory-997043/
Saw you looked at Amazon.UK so have the partpicker set at UK.The Ballistix seem to be a good choice with that low voltage and latency of cas 8.

You see that Sora agrees on the psu not being up to the standard of the rest of the build.
