I would like to connect my old amplifier and conected record deck, cassette player, etc to my computer. The problem is that the amplifier is positioned a long way from the computer, although not that far from an Ethernet hub.
Will it work if I convert the RCA connections from the amplifier to a RJ45 connection to the hub. Then from the hub to a USB connection to the computer. Or do I have to connect to an audio connection on the computer?
