Hello!
Currently, I use some old, makeshift headset. I have used it for a long while, and it's not something special. However, it's getting on it's old days, and sound has started to disappear, mic clipping out, etcetera.
I'm looking to buy some new ones soon, when these have totally died. I have read that everything called 'gaming headsets' is rubbish. Is that the case?
I have also read that instead of getting a headset, you should get something like Sennheiser's headphones, with an external microphone. However, I'm not into using external microphones; Hence I have chosen a headset that I think is of great quality. Though, I'm not buying the MixAmp either - That's over my budget.
Does anyone else use the 2015-version of the Astro A40's ? (Without MixAmp) Is the build quality great? Sound Quality, microphone quality? How is Astro in general?
Or, are there any other, great, headsets roughly around the A40's price?
