I am constructing a new PC on pcpartpicker and it says it can't confirm whether or not the parts in the title are compatible. Does anyone here have any experience or know if they will play nice?

Thank you! I was looking for information on CPU fan clearance and could not find anything! Do you think that the Blackhawk-Ultra is a good case in your opinion?

Are you sure you want a case this big?

What do you plan to use it for? Imo a cheaper mid tower case would be better suited for a build around a budget 212 EVO cooler.

What kind of FPS's can you get with that sort of setup?? ;-)

I am sure that I want a full tower. Thanks for the concern though haha :)

You don't need a full tower ATX case for that, or rather at least one not as big as the Blackhawk Ultra. Any decent mid tower case would work fine, probably even better since there would be less room apart from the fans, creating stronger air flow. Most people buying that case use it for a water cooled setup or a workstation using dual CPUs. Without it your build would look like an ant compared to the rest of the case...

Well the case will manage it with utter ease. As said, a mid tower would do just as well, but if you are in for a mighty case, then you probably have selected a good one :)

Sorry to post something after I closed the topic, but I have a couple more questions. The case comes with fan "hubs" I guess you would call them, that support 5 fans each (there are two). Problem is, they will run fans at full speed all the time. Should I connect all the fans to the hubs if I can? (I don't know if all the fan cables will reach to be honest) OR, should I connect some fans to the hubs and connect others to a fan controller? Also, I am aware the case comes with 8 fans, but I am able to put some 120 mm fans as intake on the side along with the 230 mm fan on the side, or would that be overkill? Also, are the included fans good quality (move a good amount of air) or should I replace them with better fans?

More than 8 fans will definitely be an overkill. You don't want a jet taking off everytime you boot up, do you? :)

That said, I'd first try to connect as many fans as possible to the Motherboard to get better control over them. Then, I'd look at the included fan hubs and connect the remaining to the fan hubs.

I actually was reading and found out that 6/8 of the included fans actually come connected to the hubs. Only the rear and side fans do not come connected.

I thought that more than 8 would be overkill, but damn it would look awesome to put 5 more Red LED fans on the left side panel with the 230 mm fan! :) I may have a problem haha. In all seriousness, if I were to install 5 x 120 mm fans on the side and connect them to a fan controller, would it be "like a jet taking off" if I adjusted their speed?
