Dramatic fps drop every 5 seconds

Hi, so a couple of days ago i had this problem, that every 5 seconds a game (EVERY GAME I PLAYED SO FAR.) dramatically drop fps and stays on for 2 seconds. Its very annoying and i want to solve this problem. I haven't got an answer for it, so i guess i can ask here for a idea of what is going on. Please help!

Specs:
Intel Core i7 4710HQ (2.50GHZ)
Nvidia GTX 850M 2GB DDR3
Windows 8.1
6GB RAM

Things I'd look at:

1. CPU / GPU temps, voltages and & percent of TDP while this is happening

2. Run game in 1920 x 1000 window on 1920 x 1080 screen and have Task Manager running on the processes tab with executables ranked by CPU usage. See what's popping up to the top if the list of shifting rankings when this is happening.

3. Run CPU (RoG Real Bench) and GFX (Furmark) Benchmarks to see 5if system can handle those kinda loads.
