I have Asus Essentio CM6870 desktop which uses 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz LGA 1155.
I'm upgrading and I need a new motherboard to fit in full ATX tower so that I can install GeForce 960 and sound card that goes on PCI-E. I am not a overclocker.
Can someone please recommend me a good motherboard to do this? Is it even possible to remove the CPU from my Asus desktop and install it on the new motherboard?
I already bought 750W power supply, GeForce 960, and sound card.
