please help! its been a long time since I have been in the gaming scene on a pc and recently went out to purchase parts to build my rig. I will link the part build from pcpartpicker for you. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kcashen/saved/GdgKHx

anyways, got everything built and up and running and it seems to be fine until I tried to start running stress tests/benchmarking this morning. The computer will freeze up everything.

Then I go to try and play battleifeld 4. Same issues. just freezes and restarts.

No bluescreens yet. I have made sure all drivers are up to date and even reloaded windows as well. Please help!!

Looks to me like you're running out of juice. What in the god's (by whatever you call him) name possesed you to buy a 9590? Geez, what an exorbitant waste!

How long does it last before it freezes? Immediately? When you strain the PC with the same program, does it always freeze at the same (or similar) point or timespan after you ran the thing?

I ran prime and it froze almost immediately. Was able to get through nova with a score of 1800 once. tried it a second time and every time it gets to the gpu part it freezes my whole system. As far as the game is concerned, it freezes around a similar point every time yes.

Also temps seem to be fine. I keep checking the case and all the air coming out seems to be nice and cool. I havent noticed any unusual temp spikes.

You can monitor the voltages with something like Hardware Manager for stability.

A multimeter is necessary to check the voltage output. You can also take the power supply to a PC repair shop and have them test it.

The easiest is to switch it out with a PSU that is known to be good.
