Okay I'm making a new build and I have some money to spare for a liquid cooling unit... I won't spend more than 70$ but at risk of lowering the quality of other parts. The coolers I'm considering are the corsair H55, H60, And the H75. They will be cooling an i5 4690k so which is worth it and the parts I would be stealing from are the HDD and RAM. If any of you have any suggestions I would be happy to consider :)

It is literally a $20 difference. Just wait an extra week and get the best part. The extra $20 now will prevent you from replacing an inferior part much sooner.

For just $20 more, you can get the H80i over the H75. You'll like the 80i for a lot of reasons - especially the customization. You can easily control and modify fan speed, and monitor temps of everything.

The new H100i GTX and H80i GT just came out so you can probably find a h100i or h80i for around $80.

Out of all those three the H75 will cool the best because it has a push pull config with 2 fans. So if you have room to fit the h75 (it's thick because of the 2 fans + rad) then that's the one i'd get.

H55 i generally don't recommend because it's an older style AIO compared to the newer and better H60.

does noctua give me a 5y warranty, that includes coverage for any "damage" the failing cooler/fan might do to my rig?
nope.
corsair offers that for their AIO.

and: i've been using AIO and custom WC (passive and/or active) for my rig (and some friends) since 2005, and not one has leaked. all still in use.

if you personally dont like WC/AIO, fine.
doesnt mean it wont "work" great for others.
(and as long as "you" are not paying for it, price difference doesnt really matter).

No No No... Not the H80i and every available version of that. The H75 or the H60 will do the trick! The H80i is said to have a lot of problems and I have read that in the forums. The H75 is the best you can get but the H60 isn't a bad choice either.
