Hey guys.
This is the first time I've ever built a PC and am looking for something relatively cheap. I am trying to keep the price down within the $500 range (including OS). After getting almost no sleep last night this is the build I've come up with.

Any feedback from you guys would be awesome.:bounce:

there's a problem i'm afraid...
the card is a dual slot, which means the pci ex 1x slot for the wifi card would get covered.

also.. the hdd, pick a blue version, the're much faster then the av-gp - especially if you're gonna use the hdd for everything. if you plan to add a ssd later on for the os you could stick to the av... and the ram, you're gonna want another stick of 4 gb for dual channel...

edit: the psu, i like, it's great that you didn't try to spare a few bucks and get a worse unit.

Thanks. How do you know the card is a dual slot? Nothing seems to be flashing up as incompatible. I'm not questioning your knowledge I just would like to know where to find that. Would I need a different motherboard to fix it or would i just change the adapter to something like a USB

this, and custom built versions of cards usually are dual slot. (directcu from asus, twinfrzr from msi, tri-x from saphire) some are even triple slots...

edit: it's pretty hard to detect this kind of problem automatically, that's why there's nothing compatibility wise complaining... they did check that the cpu is ok with the motherboard, that you have the pci-ex slots needed (but couldn't check if they're in the right spot)
