I recently "burned" a nas4free image to a usb stick which apparently involved playing with partitions. Now I want to use it as normal but it is showing 256MB with 14.66gb unallocated. In disk management, right clicking on it shows a bunch of greyed out options except Properties and "Help" (has windows idea of help ever actually helped anyone?)
I need to merge these back into one partition. Already tried formatting the 256MB partition and no luck recovering the 14gb. WTF WINDOWS!

Solution
In Windows Disk Management, you should be able to click on the 256 MB partition and delete it. This should then make the entire drive unallocated, at which point you can right-click it and should be able to select "create partition".
