Hi I have a Asus a8n-sli premium mobo with a winfast px6800gs graphics card. It worked fine for ages but I went away for a week and when I came back the computer would not boot. The fans & lights were on but no POST and blank screen.
I tried removing the graphics card and I get the POST 1 long beep and 3 short beeps.
My power supply is a PTI-450AR-T 450W.
I recently updated my graphic card drivers to new ones for windows 8 but because the mobo doesn't have on board graphics I cant plug in a monitor and see if I am getting any screenage.
I am pretty sure no one has tampered with the hardware while I was away but I am not sure what to trouble shoot next.
I am reluctant to go out and buy a graphics card unless I am pretty sure its stuffed.
Same thing with the power supply
What can I do?

Hi I wish I could! I cant get monitor output as the Mobo doesn't have a vga socket.

Is there a way I can get the monitor to display something without the graphics card? A friend gave me their graphics card which I tried and it POST 1 long beep and 3 short ones which it does when there is no graphics card.
