Hi guys.

I have a Asus maximus III Gene mobo, and have recently gotten a 4x 4GB G-Skill F3-1600C9Q-16GAO kit. Processor is an i5 661 socket 1156 LGA.
Problem is is that BIOS wont boot with all 4 sticks in. Only with 2x sticks in A1 and B2 channnels. In the manual i've since discovered that they say only one DDR3 1600 per channel. Also that Asus have exclusive rights to memory with 2x 1600 per channel... Is there a way around this? by lowering the speed perhaps?
Windows 7 64 BSOD's constantly with the new memory.

Thanks.

tried it. Nothing seems to work. Enabled XMP, lowered to 1333mhz, and various other combinations but windows just wont boot. Keeps on BSODing with not less or equal to error. Im pretty new at all this, so go easy! Is anyone familiar with the maximus gene 3 bios?
Memperfect doesn't want to run. It just keeps on cycling with no progress. The same with windows memory test.
Tried pressing the "Go" button but that is a dud too...
Memory is listed as fully compatible with my system. Everything is seated properly. Have checked all the slots with my old ram. Works fine...Arrrgh!

Hellllp!

If you look at the motherboards supported is the one you have between them which would mean that it should work.

You can also try the ram at ~1.6V,see what that does. If this doesn't work maybe up the IMC voltage (guess that it's for the Integrated Memory Controller) a step or even two,see what that does.
