changing motherboard but i want to keep windows 8 OEM

I also wanted to do this, and figured out that with a Win 8 OEM license you have to reinstall the OS, You cannot use the same install of Windows. Once you get it working, just go to PC Settings -> Activate Windows, and click on call to activate. Then you can call Customer Support, give them your reason, and they will ask you for the number on the screen, and will give you a code to enter which will activate your copy of windows.
