ok, I was wondering with quad HD those screens will need a special stoarage medium to hold a quad hd movie and I was wondering if Blu-ray disks will be used for quad hd or not?

im thinkin of buying a bluray player but only if they might be using 120gb + bluray disks or are they going to make another kind of disk drive for quad hd

from what I have read, they are bringing out a sort of next gen blu ray some time this year, will more than likely need a new blu ray player to use at all.
Right now 4k video isn't in any standard yet. Bluray discs can't really do it, and even if they could, they aren't meant to output at 4k, so new players would be needed anyways.

The "4k" video that is out there, mostly isn't really 4k yet, but companies like Sony nad I think LG are selling or including hard drives with 4k content that is heavily copyright protected.

Right now, buy a bluray player if you want to watch blurays. It will be a while before 4k content comes to any standard and will probably be a new medium anyways.
