Nvidia Game stream not working (Nvidia Shield tablet)

Ive been trying to use game streaming from my pc to my nvidia shield tablet, the problem is that there will be a message at the bottom saying "poor connection" then after a second or two i will get a pop up saying that there is interference with the network.

I have a BT home hub 5, I am also using 5ghz, my download speed is 61mbps and my pc meets all the requirments

Well, it could be a number of things:
1) Is the PC's firewall turned on? (even if you think it isn't, you need to check because I've seen Windows Firewall turn itself on all by itself several times.)
2) What other clients are using the AP?
3) As a test, what happens when you turn off the 2.4GHz band on the AP and connect the Shield Tablet to the AP only on the 5GHz band?
4) Have you tried switching the AP to use a different channel (both 2.4 and 5GHz bands)? You may be in a noisy Wi-Fi area (or may be using cordless phones) that degrade your signal. With the proper software you should be able to scan all the channels so you can select the ones that are the least congested.

Those are a few things off the top of my head you can try.
