a good air cooler would be better as water cooling only starts to beat air cooling at the higher end models
Honestly, I'd just pick up a 212 Plus $20 and some paste $6 and call it a day. You'd get a similar moderate overclock

I agree with Sammy except that the paste that comes with the 212 is really good so there isn't even a need for the extra $6 thermal paste.
