So my mother board on my computer stopped working. So I looked to find a ddr2 compatible motherboard bith not much luck.

I only see ddr3. So my question is. Is it worth it to buy a ddr3 motherboard and ram when I have 4 4gig sticks of ddr2. Been looking for a few weeks for a ddr2 motherboard for a gaming pc. I'm trying to be really cheap.

When you upgrade a motherboard, chances are that you'll have to upgrade the CPU and RAM to match the compatibility of the new board. Buying a NEW mobo, new CPU, and new RAM, is going to run you a decent sum of money. Is it worth it in the long run? Definitely. I'd advise you to save up to buy these new parts, and keep your current computer as is.
