Hi i have 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 2133Mhz Ram. I was wondering if i need a fan for it. I have 2 Kingston HyperX KHX-FAN Fans, but i took them out because they were a bit too loud for my taste. I don't overclock any of my components. i have a good airflow case, the case is a nzxt phantom 820. Sorry for any grammar mistakes. I'm only 14. if you're wondering why i have so much ram, its because i game on ultra, and i do a lot of video editing.

Your memory doesn't even need the flashy heatspreader, let alone a dedicated cooling fan. Modern memory - running within its rated specs - should not dissipate any significant amount of heat, especially with DDR4. The last piece of memory technology I can remember that actually needed auxiliary cooling was RAMBUS's RDIMM that saw a bit of usage on Pentium 4-based platforms.

If you're saying you don't have ANY fans in the case running at all, then YES. Running a PC without constant airflow will rise in temperature. But if you're asking do you need fan/fans specifically for the ram, no you do not.
