Hi I am wanting a new PC in the 2000$ price range and want a PC that can run all games at high to ultra settings at 60 FPS plus be able to stream it in really good quality. Also I would like to run games at 1080 and maybe even higher resolution eventually. Any builds you could come up with is very appreciated!

Just moved it to an X99 build for the workstation use. This build will render ALOT better then the 4790K build and the GTX 970 SLI will work very well upto 1440P. You could however eventually do dual 980's instead which would be better for 4K. You should however wait till the end of Q2 this year before graphics card shopping!

Well considering that gaming is the primary use for this system X99 isn't necessary and is actually considered to be a downgrade in performance vs. Z97, streaming can be done on Z97 as well. But as far as new GPUs are concerned there isn't anything on the horizon until about August for AMD and late September for NVIDIA, but that also won't guarantee an increase in performance either.

In all honesty I haven't been hardcore into the new graphics cards as I've just got a pair of 980 Posidens myself so I'm pretty happy with them, I just saw that the AMD 380/x are not too far from being released or so they believe anyway!

My new 970 has been running like a champ (despite all the NVIDIA nay saying that's been going on lately :ange: ) and I definitely plan to add a second once I get my tax refund. Glad I went with Gigabyte for this go-round.
