Hi,
I would like to buy a new laptop for gaming under 40,000(Rupees) and I require some suggestions. (Games: Like FarCry3/FarCry4, Black Flag,Crysis3,Thief,TombRaider,NFS Rivals,Batman Akraham etc mostly story and action games).

Which of the following better:
1. Processors Intel or AMD (if Intel i3 or i5 which one better and maximum clock frequency how much I have to choose like I saw laptops coming with i5 has (1.7GHz to 2.7GHz with turboo) is enough?

2. Graphic card I'm choosing 2GB again which one is good ,Nvidia or AMD.
I saw most laptops coming with latest AMD R5 graphic card and Nvidia 820 is this graphic card is good for playing above games.

I don't require high or ultra high settings for game even medium also sufficient but I need good laptop which provide better visual clarity both (for Movies and Games) or simply tell me what configurations I should pick for buying above requirements.

1. Intel is ahead of AMD, in terms of gaming performance. Go for them.

2. When referring to graphics cards in laptops, you're better off with Nvidia, as they're more efficient and cooler.

I'd show a link to a good laptop, but am unsure if you can order from Newegg where you live.

in amd's defense at low-mid end amd whoops intel... i3 and below amd rules price-performance. when you get to i5 its debatable. when you get to i7 intel wins because amd doesn't make anything as good as an i7. the best cpu's they make are on par with i5's. soooo I would get an alienware laptop if you really want a legit gaming laptop. My cousin got an 8 core i7 alienware laptop for 700 dollars used. I would get a used new or used/refirb alienware laptop depending on your budget. you could also go for other brads like asus or what not just get one with a dedicated gpu. intrigrated gpus suck. make shure to get a quad core or better. prefrebly 6 gigs of ram or more. I will admit for laptops intel is better because I don't think amd has laptop fx-chips and there fx chips are the ones you want for gaming. Also it might be a good idea to build a desktop... they are upgradable and fun to mess with...

Thanks for the answers: Can you please suggest best of one from the following

1. intel i3(4th gen/5th gen(1.9GHz/2.2GHz)) with Nvidia 830m Graphic card
2. intel i5(4th gen/5th gen(1.7GHz/2.2GHz)) with Nvidia 820m Graphic card

I think for playing casual games graphic card is more important than processor but I wonder if I prefer processor also then which graphic card is better 820m or 830m because gpucheck or some other websites showing not much difference between these two same as i3(4th gen) & i5(4th gen) except turbo boost technology.

But actually I thought if I choose i5 it may give better performance but the graphic card I'm getting is 820m, so I just thinking which one I have to choose because latest 5th generation intel processors also came and there is slight improvement in i5 and i3 interms of clock speed. Thanks
