I have a blue screen after entering my password and then nothing can be done

Blue screen comes up after entering password, and then it just stalls out. Windows button doesn't work nor any other clicking from mouse. Basically you are stuck in the blue screen. Only option is bringing up the task master

When you have Task Manager on the screen, click Processes then right click Explorer and select End process. Then from the File menu, choose New and type explorer.exe into the box and hit Enter. Does that bring up a desktop?
