So, i got some money together and now i dont really know what to do, i am currently running a gtx 760 and a amd fx 6300. First i was planning to upgrade to a GTX 970, but then i was thinking to buy a new processor and motherboard. I use my computer for gaming most of the time. So my question is, is a FX 6300 okay to run with a gtx 970, or should i get a new prossecor + motherboard? (my budget is arround 400 euro's)

Kind regards,

Thimo.

If you already has a cpu cooler(not the stock one) and your 760 has 4GB of RAM, you can try to overclock for little more performance.
But if your 760 has only 2GB of ram you should buy a video card.
(Note: the fx-6300 not a bad cpu for gaming and most of games runs well on it!)
