Hi,
I have a feeling that my CPU bottlenecks GPU.
My specifications are:
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H
CPU: AMD A8 6600k
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 750
RAM: 8 GB 1600Mhz
When I run more CPU intense games, like Heroes of the Storm, or Starcraft II, the GPU usage and power is very low (around 50% usage and 30% power). The CPU usage gets to 95%, and even in the Open Hardware Monitor it shows that the usage was MAX 100% on each CPU core.

Is this CPU really that weak for gtx 750? What can I do to reduce CPU usage and pump up GPU usage ? Maybe some cpu overclocking? I have SilentiumPC Fortis II for the CPU cooler.

Thanks for answering and help!

Regards

Will the Silentium PC Fortis 2 coller be compatible with my motherboard? The cooler has 4 pin. My motherboard had 3 pin for CPU but 2x 4 pin for system fans. When I connect it to 4 pin system fan, will it work?

That cpu shouldnt bottleneck your GPU. The games you mentioned are CPU intensive and will always max out a CPU before GPU. For example, SC2 can run max GPU settings on a 8800gtx, which is a dinosaur of a GPU, but will max out even some modern intel CPU's.

Bottlenecks are always application dependent. Some games that use a lot of GPU may never use half of your CPU, and vice versa. That becomes even more complicated when you throw in higher pixel density. At 1080p my old phenom ii x6 1055t bottlenecked my dual HD 7970's, but at 1440p it was a fantastic match.
