Hi,
I bought an ASUS Z97-A motherboard and it didn't have the drivers cd. I know the drivers can be downloaded from ASUS website but the problem is they only allow you to download the drivers individually and for only a specific operating system at a time instead of giving the customer the option for also downloading all drivers in a single download...oh and having the only option of dial-up internet service makes downloading even one small file a task that takes forever!

Even though I'm currently using Windows 7 64bit, I have no idea if I might start using a newer operating system later on down the road and so would like to find the original oem drivers cd which contained all driver's for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1

Having the oem drivers cd makes it nice if your system crashes or you have other problems whereby you can't just simply get on the internet and go get the drivers that are needed, and unfortunately where I live I can't simply walk across the road to my neighbor's house to use their internet and the nearest public library that has computers and internet is quite a drive away from me.

If you have the original ASUS drivers cd and could make a copy or you know where to get it, please send me the info...it's been over 5 days since I left a message at ASUS website asking about the drivers cd but still haven't got a reply :(

Thanks for the help but unfortunately the seller said he doesn't have the drivers dvd. The reason I want the dvd even though the drivers on it may be outdated and replaced by new ones, at least I'll have the drivers for when the pc crashes or I install a newer operating system and I can't get back online to download them from the ASUS website.

Even if there wasn't a problem with the LAN/Modum drivers after it crashed or I installed a newer operating system and I was able to get back online, an overcrowded dial-up internet isn't fun what-so-ever when having to download much of anything.

Unfortunately there is no broadband in our area and so why the dial-up is so overcrowded and bogging down everyone's speed. To get use of broadband I would have to go a good ways outside of the area I live in and then go door to door to see who would let a total stranger come into their home and use their computer lol yeah not likely

No problem Mr Moderator :)

....and yes GhislainG, I did buy it used. The seller on Ebay has 100% positive feedback and gave a 30day no-hassle guarantee where by the seller even said would pay the return shipping if it comes DOA or has any problems within the 30 days from the time showing it was delivered.

....and like you were thinking, I looked and looked on Ebay, Amazon, Newegg, etc etc but no luck other than on Ebay which can find a bunch of the original drivers DVD for all models of the ASUS Z97 motherboard for approx. 6.00 and 6.00 for shipping but I have NO IDEA if their stuff is the same when it comes to it working on our USA computers. Oh and their listings are mostly in a foreign language to boot and so GRRRRRRRRR I can't read it and they can't read my questions if I sent them a message....ready to pull my hair out!

Nope....even obama has been pushing for more accessibility to broadband. I checked the nearest town to me that has broadband through their cable and OUCH...I wouldn't want to pay 52.00 month just for it not too mention the installation costs and monthly rental fees for their router

You're most likely quite true in normal/average situations but I'm on social security disability for a spinal cord injury and so the strict budget dictates that every nickel adds up a lot at the end of every month...heck I just don't stretch my pennies but even try to stretch the toilet paper to get 2 wipes out of what would normally be 1 wipe lol ...oh and I first tried turning the paper over after the first wipe to get a second out of it but uhm yeah well that didn't go as planned ;)

WeW Case Solved! The one ebay item found from Europe for 5.25 and 6.00 shipping is the exact same drivers DVD for the Z97 series motherboards...I was able to blow up the picture from the Ebay listing and compare it to a known USA/Canada version and everything matched up exactly including the upc code :)

Well with that finally solved, now it looks like an even harder task of finding the original Z97 Series manuals and so although I have another posting for that on here, please send some info my way if you know where to get the original manuals and not the pdf download.

Thanks everyone for trying to help :)

Not sure if it is ok to add the ebay item's link so let me know if this isn't allowed... here's the links to the 2 separate listings for the ASUS Z97 Series Drivers DVD:

(1) This one is 5.29 and 6.00 shipping from Europe

(2) This one is ridiculously priced at 16.00 and 7.00 shipping from Canada
