Hello, I am new to over clocking but recently brought a....
corsair H100i. To cool my Intel I7 4770K. With a Z87-K Asus motherboard, Corsair RM750 PSU and NZXT H440 case. However when over clocking I can only get to 4.4 Ghz with 1.35V. Without my computer crashing and getting a blue screen saying CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. After googling I found this was to do with the voltage so I increased it to 1.35
I have now get a stable CPU and hasn't crashed since. My temp are at max 75.c but an average stress test temp is 70.c. The idle temp is 35.c
Is this to high temps or voltage for everyday use?
By the way this is quite a NEW build. I went up in 0.01V till I got a stable result
PS. I have tried getting to 4.5 but without getting the voltage higher then 1.4V it seemed impossible and that would lead to temps above 80.c!
