You'd have to set up your wireless settings again but that doesn't take long. Download the manual so you'll have it handy http://www.arrisi.com/modems/datasheet/SBG6580/SBG6580_UserGuide.pdf You can do the factory reset in the modem webpage, or press and hold down the reset button on the rear of the modem with an unbent paper clip.
