Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and have some questions around my computer. I am trying to upgrade my computer and want to see which upgrade will be best fit for my need. I'll be using my computer for GoPro editing on Gopro app at 1080p resolution at 60FPS. Also, Some Video games...

Please help which part would be a good upgrade if any..

Thank you!

I am currently running:
Samsung 840 Evo Pro 256 GB plus 1TB Seagage 7200 rpm HDD
MSI 970A-G46 Mother board
FX-4350 Quad Core Processor 4.2 Ghz
Sapphire HD 7970 Dual X 3GB graphics card
16 GB of corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM

Solution
Nothing really wrong with your current rig apart from the motherboard which is a poor model.
Its fine with your current quad core but Will struggle with a 6 or 8 core chip.
There's not really anywhere to go unless your changing mb & CPU.

Generally mate unless you can find 3 very real things that you're unhappy with performance wise with your current rig then you don't need to upgrade IMO.
You're in a hard place for upgrades.your current components are still good but not 'great'.
There's no real cost effective way to upgrade.
You already have a decent ssd & good quality ram.
Your 4350 may only be a quad but those high clock speeds put it nearly on a par with an 8350 in single ,twin or quad threaded apps.
You could drop a 6300 in that board or one of the 8 core e series chips but the lower clock speeds will more likely lose you performance than gain anything IMO unless you're doing 5 or 6 simultaneous HD transcodes/encodes - & as I said that board won't allow any decent over clocks so with anything past a quad you'll be dealing with lower per core performance.
Same with your 7970 (essentially a 280x) - very close to top end 2 years ago ,now firmly top of the mid-tier or bottom of the high-tier depending on how you look at it.
You can go 290x or gtx 970 at a $300 outlay for 10-15fps extra but then be held back by your CPU.
Going Intel with an i5 4440/4460 would gain you 15-25% better CPU performance but at a $220-$250 outlay - that's more of a rebuild than a upgrade too.

No problem mate - there are a lot of people in the same circumstances - & generally 99% of them (including me) are amd owners.
You do have a decent rig there in my eyes as I said - & that does mean that essentially its very hard to make upgrade anything cost effectively.
You will never see a decent cost to performance ratio when upgrading mid range components.
