Hello all!! I used this forum alot to research different graphics card and computers before i recently purchased my desktop (switched from a laptop, great choice). now i have a question that i cant find an answer to.

First - specs
Dell 8700 xps
CPU - i7 - 4790
Graphics - Geforce GTX 750 ti
RAM - 12gb Dell brand
SSD - Crucial M550 256gb
everything else stock from the 8700

Problem - I'm trying to run warcraft and from all my research, it seems like i should be able to run ulta without dropping below 60 at all. however i'm having lots of screen tearing issues, which cause me to use v-sync. this is nice and all but i get 60 fps and it drops to 40 quite alot.

I was able to solve this problem by dropping all my settings to GOOD except from particle density which i raised to ultra. This gives me 60-66 fps without dropping at all below 60.

Is this what is expected from my setup? or should i be able to push this higher without losing performance?
I'm running the game in full screen mode on 1080

Thank you all in advance!!!

is this an actual problem though? id imagine if anything, the graphics card would bottleneck the system at that point. but i see other people running this card on ultra i think...

playing on high/ultra with 750ti isn't a good idea , maybe in pandaria patch but not in world of draenor , i got the 770 gtx , while playing ultra setting system get crash+restart ,high setting sometimes crash in 40+ battles/raids , so "good video setting" is what i would recommend for u ,we all wish to play ultra but sometimes u just got to let go ;D .

lol ive come too far. i sold my ideapad y500 (i7 with gt650m ) for my xps. MUST . PLAY. ULTA. !!!!

what about a 960? i was looking at selling my 750 ti for around 100 on ebay, and buying a new evga 960 ssc for 210 on amazon. or hopefuly the price will go down while im selling my 750 ti. lol im in a time issue because i raid tues/wed so i cant miss one... although i bet the graphics on the i7 would probably support wow on low for a night
