Hello, I just saw that now there is a DDR4 Memory and I found this very cheap RAM made by Mushkin which is a " Mushkin Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory " at 119$, which seems very cheap especially when the same type of ram cost between 300-400$ ? The voltage of the RAM is at 1.35V Idk if it's good or bad.

It doesn't seem very legit
Is this a good or bad ram ?
And Is it worth having DDR4 or anything higher than 1600Mhz ?
(I know that there are other factors to look at for the quality of a ram but idk what they are... ? )

Thank you for helping me ;) :D

If you want to build with that is the mushkin a good choice.I use it myself.Looked carefully and this set is 2x4gb which is for what you want not very effcient looking at a quad channel motherboard. The reason why it is so cheap and there are even cheaper ones
With socket 2011-V3 do you really want at least 4x4gb,like this,

Why do you want an X99 motherboard/cpu?

I use Mushkin Redline DDR3 myself, works great.

I was looking at the 4 x 4 GB version of this stuff...seems to be super fast for the price. However, it's not on Asus's QVL for RAM for my X99-A...can anyone comment on the risk?

What is it for?
For a X99 motherboard would i go for at least 4x4gb,already explained why.

For ddr4 on a different socket do you need to wait for "Skylake"/socket 1151.From what i read will that come in about the second quarter of the year.

Shouldn't be a risk, they just can't test every set of ram with a motherboard.
