Hello everyone, first off I am new to Tom's Hardware, so I am not sure if this is the right category for this, so I am sorry in advance if this is not in the right category. So I am looking to building a new gaming PC and I would like your input on the parts I have chosen, I have also picked out a monitor and keyboard, which I would also like some input on, thank you. To give you an idea of what I need in this PC, here is a list of games I frequently play, Skyrim Elder Scrolls V, Minecraft, CS:GO, Garrys Mod, Payday 2, COD Advanced Warfare, Dark Souls, Farcry 4, Civ 5, and more. In addition to all of this I do record youtube videos, although I am not looking to advertise it here. So, without further ado, here is what I have picked out and why.

CPU: An i7 processor, with a good GPU will ensure high fps in most games, especially in Minecraft.

CPU Cooler : I'm not too sure about this one, it had a fairly high rating, and was fairly cheap too so I picked it.

Motherboard: Again I'm not too sure about motherboards, it's pretty much the same story as the CPU cooler.

Memory: I don't think right now that I need more than 8 gigs of RAM, and this was a reasonable price, with a good rating.

Storage: I plan to use this computer for a while and I would like to save my youtube videos on here as well so I figured that 2TB is worth it.

Video Card: High performance for games = gud stuf

Case: Fairly cheap, has a high rating, and looks nice.

Power Supply: I looked it up and around 600w is good.

Optical Drive: I won't use this very often, but it can be useful in some situations.

Operating System: I don't want windows 8 really, I don't need windows 7 ultimate or professional, just a waste of money really.

Monitor: Good refresh rate, not too expensive, and I can't have a monitor go over 24 inches.

Keyboard: I was looking around the internet for a while with this one, people really seem to like it, and it looks pretty cool too.

I am no expert in this so please any input or changes at all would be very appreciated, thank you.

Look really good! if you want ot save few extra the 4690K is great Chip and much cheaper. Also the cooler is really good a lot of people love that one and if your not overclocking it works wonderful. As for the Ram i would possibly suggest the extra 8GB for rendering. If you have the cash then i would suggest that. As for windows just 7 works great you'll get free upgrade to 10 once that launches at the end of the year. Storage. Idk if your planning on...

Idk if your planning on storing a lot but 2TB will fill up pretty fast depending on the video size and also how many games you'll have installed. if you can afford it maybe get an SSD for you operating system.
Everything looks great i think you have a very nice system there.
