Cooler Master Hyper TX3 installation issue

I recently just bought a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 to replace my loud and noisy Intel stock cpu fan. Buy I'm extremely paranoid about installing the new cpu fan. The issue being that the stock cpu fan needed to be screwed onto a backplate. But with the new cpu fan, since it uses pins instead of screws, I can't pin it onto the backplate. The pins have no problem installing without the backplate but then the cpu clamp has nothing to hold onto.

My main concern is if it is okay to continue with the cpu fan installation even if the cpu clamp isnt fully seated. I can only seat it with the backplate but then the backplate interferes with the cpu fan pins. Please rerespond as fast as you can.

Solution
When I check pictures on Newegg, I see the backplate for the CPU retainer, but the cooler uses the LGA 775 or LGA 1155 holes. Use the LGA 1155 holes to mount the TX3.

I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 with an Intel i7 2600 (lga socket 1155).

I can remove the backplate but then the cpu clamp is loose (im not sure if theres another term for it but its the part that holds the cpu in place extremely tight). I dont know if i could/should continue with putting the cup fan in.

I transferred my stock intel cpu cooler from an old prebuilt XPS 780 in which the cpu fan needed a backplate to screw it in.
