I have been lately having some troubles with my computer. (I'll put some specs further in this post.) I have put in a new GPU and the computer worked fine for about 2 weeks. I then installed a new driver from the Nvidia website. After the new driver I had some blue screen troubles so I reverted the driver back to the one that came on the GPU's install disk. That fixed the blue screen troubles. Now I'm having trouble with the computer freezing and forcing me to do a hard restart. It has no real pattern. It seems to happen more when I'm not doing anything. Like it'll be sitting there on the desktop or on chrome's homepage and it will freeze. I have noticed a humming that is louder than usual that comes from the computer itself. When I let push (almost tap) on the top of the desktop's case, the humming stops. The DVD/CD drive is on the very top of the PC case. Could this have something to do with the freezing of the computer?? I appreciate any help/advice.
