Our hard drive froze during a transfer so we unplugged it without ejecting. Now nothing will recognize it and we can't get to

Solution
Hey Crzymon19. This might have damaged the partition or corrupted the data. Is the drive recognized in Disk Management and if yes, what does it say there about the file system? Here's how to access Disk Management: How to access Disk Management in Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 to manage hard drives just click on the corresponding OS and follow the instructions.
Other than that you could try to access the drive via Linux Live USB/CD to see if it's recognized this way and if you can recover your data.
You could also try some of the data recovery options listed here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
