Hi.
There is the problem: When I press Esc. my crappy laptop give me the blue screen with NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE error.

find more about this error here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2750146

Yes, I've been searching for solutions and I simply found nothing. Everywhere I search, I only get stuff about kernel and PH programming, which doesn't applies to my situation.

I want to know if this can be fixed by disabling the NMI, "Non-Maskable Interrupt" switch that is obviously the Escape key on my laptop.

Or, do I need to buy a new laptop?! I need an answer, I just finished building my desktop and money is not something lying around right now, so please, someone, I would like a solution that can keep this computer alive for a little longer (other than "stop pressing Esc for ever")

Thanks for your help, I really hope someone know the solution to this issue.

Found a solution even if it fixed half of my computer.

After posting this thread, I saw the linked threads under it and clicked on the first one that looked like mine. I found this link on it:
http://www.solvusoft.com/en/errors/blue-screen-errors/microsoft-corporation/windows-operating-system/bug-check-0x80-nmi-hardware-failure/

I simply followed the first step and ran WinThruster.... to discover those 816 errors in my laptop and then to discover that I had to pay for the program to fix them all.

So, of course it made me a bit stressed about if this program was safe and I went ahead, going to uninstall it. But of course, as a scammer alwaus stay a scammer, the program popper up saying "if you keep me installed, I will fix 408 out of 816 or your errors"

This seemed even more like a trap..... but made some quick searches and accepted this weird request from the program. Finally, it fixed all my "system errors" and now the excape button don't make my laptop go to the blue screen anymore! But still around 400 errors laying around in my laptop because I dont have 40$ to put in a program!

Anyway, if someone have some ways to fix my computer's "errors" without buying this scamming program, feel free to post it here. For now, I will see this as a solved problem since the Esc key doesn't make my laptop crash anymore.
