100% Disk usage spikes from almost everything, starting up can take 5-10 minutes, opening games causes big lag

So for the past few months i've noticed my computer lags alot.. i never understand why and only recently i've noticed my disk usage always spikes to 100%.. my CPU and RAM never hit 100% and my Disk usage does, and when it does my compter just freaks out.

I have some screenshots from Task Manager too see if anyone can make any sense.. Im soon going to upgrade to a SSD and HDD combo as im currently using a very old HDD

Im gonna be putting up screenshots soon.. computers asking up

I've used one program to check my HDD and it said it was ok.. ill try chkdsk and i run malwareBytes often and the problem always happens even after fresh installs of OS

I believe its anywhere near 5 years old.. its the only computer part thats the same since i bought a premade one with windows OEM built into it.. i have no disk or anything, it kinda just automatically lets me re-install windows from fresh if i press F11 when starting up my computer

I know this is old now but if you have or are using skype yes skype then the problem lies in that. I had the same issue I was pretty mad. after uninstalling both windows 8.1 skype and the downloadable version my disk space went down back to normal. hope this helps anyone in the future.
