Hey Im looking to get a water block for a 290x and want to pay with paypal as i have money on my account, i know i can transfer it and all that but trying to avoid this. I usually get my stuff from frozencpu and love the site but they dont take paypal any recommendations ebay doesn't have anything I want on there right now so thats out

FrozenCPU accepts Paypal

They note paypal on their web site that for international orders they do not accept credit cards. Paypal is the only option.

3/17/10 - I ordered this fan grill from FrozenCPU, and paid via Paypal. The USPS tracking said it was delivered yesterday afternoon, but there was no package at my house.

Check with reseller ratings.com before buying

6.00 - http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Performance_PC_s
8.75 - http://www.resellerratings.com/store/DazMode
8.75 - http://www.resellerratings.com/store/FrozenCPU

I think you will quickly see the advantage once you read some of the reviews at resellerratings.com as well as not the frequency of the reviews.... (i.e how many were made in 2015).

Not also that recent reviews show that frozencpu may have shut its doors.... so investigate thoroughly before purchasing.

EDIT 3 - New business at Frozencpu's address .... 311 E. Chestnut street

well i stand corrected the phones are shut off i have sent an email to everyone who works or worked there i hope i hear back tomorrow but im not holding my breath any advice on how to retrieve my money from them

I read the entire 159 page thread (see link above) over at OCN and things are not looking good. The owner apparently has a personal issue that makes the ongoing operation of the company very iffy. It's a shame, they had unequaled selection, support and customer service and it will leave a H U G E hole in the US water cooling and customization industry.

Well who knows whatz gonna happen .... lot of speculation in that thread and if I was some of the posters, I'd be going back and doing a lot of deleting to try and avoid potential litigation.

Unfortunately, there is no real alternative to FCPU.

PerformancePCs still has a 6.00 resellerratings.com rating, does not have bear the stock variety and too many horror stories abound about questionable practices from "home made" crystal links ro diluted bottles of coolant. I used to by 'safe" things from them like fittings but since the new web site went up, I can't bear to shop there. I saw a lot about them being cheaper but i did a spreadsheet on a $2300 order and differences was $8 for items they both had and I had to go to two other sources to get the missing items

Other sources are run by decent folk but the stock is small.

I'm hoping it resurfaces in some form or another, run by some of the original crew .... otherwise WC will be a lot harder.
