Bypass xbox one disc drive??

Ok, so basically i was thinking is it possible for me to bypass the disc drive in my xbox one? cause my drive is dead. now what im thinking is something like a external usb that will tell the xbox one the disc is in the drive and let it play, or a installable file on the xbox so i can play the games without the disc.
is this possible? as i dont want to replace the disc drive/ return my xbox.
also dont want to have to take games to eb games and trade in to buy microsoft cards to buy games again

If you installed all your games to the Hard Drive you can bypass the Drive if your didn't then you have a problem. Generally the Drive is only used for first time install if you have the right options on. Out of warranty you can get your drive fixed for around $70, Game Stop might want more.

Plastic Opening Tools $2.95 Guitar picks work pretty good and they are cheaper it is what i use on Tablets and Phones.

you said theres a set of options to use if my games are on the hdd??? what these options as all my games are on the hdd

I also would like to know I have not found these options for my Xbox one either with my games being installed to the hard drive. I know in the Xbox360 days you could install your games to the hard drive but you still had to have the disk in the drive for authentication. But I had disk drives go bad in my Xbox360, and you just could not swap them out. The disk drive circuit board has a serial number that matches the motherboard. So when I replaced the disk driver I had to get the exact same model, unsolder all the wires from both and put the circuit board from the broken disk drive into the replacement one, then resolder all the wires.

I would call microsoft see if you xbox one is still under warranty.

Can you hear the disk drive spin when a disk is inserted? Does the drive read DVDs or Bluerays?

Sorry to string you along on this but no you can no longer play games without a Disc unless it is a Digital download. They have since patch around a bug that allowed you to launch without Disc Seeking on some units. The only way now is the Jailbreak which can allow you to regain that function at the cost of voiding any warranty and potentially getting your Live account banned. There are a few games out that for some reason that will play without a disk for random players, destiny is one that comes to mind.
