what do i need,surge protector avr or ups for my pc?

I want to protect my pc hardware but dont care about the data loss.i have a a corsair cx750m.lately i had many power failures in the house and my pc closed unexpectadly.but for my case i want to know if i need a surge protector,avr or ups.i want to avoid ups because they are expensive.im in athens

if the power surges disconnect the power for more then a couple of seconds only a ups can keep the pc on for that period to avoid a sudden shutdown. avr's and surge protectors help with stabilizing the power input, nothing more.
