Thanks Rockie, I'm hoping to purchase the parts next week. Here are some comments from today, thinking about this impending purchase:
*If my son plays games mostly on the X-box, so we need such a powerful video card? He is more of a FIFA sports game guy than a shooter/racing/3D game guy, although he does play some shooters.
* Will that video card help with video rendering in CyberDirector, Premier Elements, or Premier Pro?
* Do Nvidia graphics cards out-perform other graphics cards (since this is GTX, I guess it is an Nvidia build)
* Is there a Mid or full ATX board that you like at around the same price, since we want to continue to upgrade our computer
* I read some favorable reviews of Seagate Barracuda hard drives, so I might choose one with similar characteristics to the WD hard drive
* I also read about balancing the system, and I think I'll want to start with 16 MB of RAM for the video editing, and possibly more in the future

Thanks for your advice! I still will probably get some glowing fans or glass sides for the PC, as I want it to look super cool for my son, as well as do useful things, such as play games!

Thanks again!

Would this work with any GTX graphics card (it seems like "GTX") means NVidia, but that other makers, such as Asus, Gigabyte, etc. make the GTX graphics cards. So would ShadowPlay work with all of these? If so, sounds like a great idea, and I appreciate your input! Thanks!

Im really suggesting you to get R9 280x (Well it had twice power consumption than NVIDIA) but they can be effective on Designing. (It had 356-bit Memory Width which is awesome for multi tasking, on the other side you can play Fifa safely with awesome FPS(I got em 6months ago))

NVIDIA outperform on Gaming, but not on multi tasking (Lets stick on your needs)

16GB Rams should be enough for first build (Be sure you bought up 8gb x 2, so you can use the Dual-Channel technology)

Video Editing (Need a lot of Space, would suggest to get 256 SSD Samsung, for faster load + Windows, and get either 1TB/2TB Seagate Barracuda would be awesome)

Also for microphone, what did it used for? Since you can get like headset + microphone for 20-30bucks i suppose.
