Hi. I'm new with the catalyst system. I just bought my msi r9 280 gaming, before that I was nvidia. So whats your suggestions about the modifications I should do on the catalyst to make my card perform better
no overclocking

Solution
Generally, leave everything as it is, set aside vsync options being "On, unless application specifies" and OpenGL triple buffering on (it can help a lot in some games where vsync is enabled, and will otherwise have no effect).

Other than that, you can mix and match at your own pleasure. Most games will gain some graphical advantage at the price of a bit of speed, while some will benefit in performance for no noticeable graphical quality increase.

You could also drop CCC entirely and use RadeonPRO, albeit it's a bit more advanced.
