how to remove ask.com from uninstall program

hi,when I needed to remove the ask.com from my windows 7 pc I simplyremove it from Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features but it won't install tried revo unstaller but it still there.any suggestion would appreciated

The Ask toolbar is basically malware. You click the wrong button on a legitimate installer like AVG anti-virus and the toolbar not only embeds itself in your browser and overrides your default search, but it actually changes these settings if you try to get rid of it.

By far the best strategy if you have installed it recently is to use a Windows restore point from before ask was installed. Windows creates weekly restore points so you shouldn't lose much. The restore affects only programs and not data folders.

I would have suggested searching "remove ask toolbar" on google, but ask probably tries to screw with your search.
