Change internet connection type??HELP!!!

I have to be hardwired for work so I hooked up my ethernet cord and turned off wifi. But when my boss runs a test on my laptop it still comes up as wireless and I fail. I went in and disabled wifi, turned on airplane mode, even deleted the wifi name and password from my laptop, it says no wireless detected but the scan from my boss says different. WHAT DO I DO?? If I don't get this fixed today im out of a job. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! THANKS YA'LL

a poopy way to get around it is to delete your wireless drivers for the time being and then reinstall them when your all done.

Dissiable the wireless in bios or device manager. Hurry hurry! Would not want you to lose your job over something like this.

First, where are you connected at? Why can't your boss just go over and see how you are connected? What is this scan he is doing? Just do an ipconfig /all and send him the screnshot. It will show that you are connected with a wire and that wifi has no IP.
