So I've had a GTX 670 for the past 4 years and its an amazing graphic card, but I recently bought 2 monitors and wanted to do SLI because I was getting frame rate drop when fully using both monitors off of 1 GTX 670.

Well my 2nd GTX 670 just came in the mail, I went and set it up and tried to run SLI and its not giving me the option. I'm using a 650W power supply and I think that may be the issue.

I did test the new graphic card and tried switching the slots but only 1 will work at a time. Both fans spin but I can't use SLI on them for some reason. I also checked device manager and only one GTX 670 is showing.

I'm just wanting to confirm that its a power supply issue rather than something simple that I screwed up on.

Yeah I've look inside of Nvidia Control Panel and no SLI settings pop up. Also my computer isn't detecting the 2nd GTX670 in device manager.

I use the adapters and my motherboard supports SLI it even has a "sli" image on the motherboard clearly saying it supports it
I've tried switching out the power cables and they worked fine.

Should a computer be able to power 2x GTX' 670's with only 650W? I have a ton of things hooked into the computer, keyboard, mouse, headset,Mic's.
