is this build any good? i will use it for gaming med-high graphics and movies on netflix and stuff. dont wanna go over 700. will not be doing mail in rebates only need the computer itself

If u look carefully at the power supply you selected and the graphics card, you will see that the graphics card requires 750w psu but you selected 500w, if you want to keep graphics card, go with higher power psu, but count on price, itll go higher.

550w is plenty for an r9 280, do not worry about it. You DO NOT need 750w at all.

Don't be. I promise that that xfx550 is plenty for your system. GPU companies overstate the cards requirements by ALOT because many people just junk PSUs. There are plenty of 750w PSUs out there that barely make 500w.

The r9 280 draws max 200w. Add that to the 120w for an overclocked CPU and then 50w for the rest for the system and you are only at 370w with the PC under full 100% load. You have nothing to worry about.
